Autobahnvignette

To use Swiss motorways, you need a vignette (motorway toll sticker). It costs CHF 40 and is valid from 1 December of the year preceding the printed year until 31 January of the following year (maximum 14 months).

Vignettes are available in Switzerland at customs offices, petrol stations, and post offices. Since 1 August 2023, an electronic vignette (E-Vignette) can also be purchased at the same price via the official online portal: https://via.admin.ch/shop/dashboard.

Petrol stations near the border in neighbouring countries usually sell the vignette as well.
