Das im Jahre 1907 gegründete Physikalisch-Meteorologische Observatorium Davos (PMOD/WRC) befasst sich mit der Erforschung der Sonne und deren Strahlung. Dazu werden hier in Davos die entsprechenden Messinstrumente entwickelt und hergestellt, welche sowohl auf der Erde als auch im Weltraum eingesetzt werden. Als Weltstrahlungszentrum haben wir zudem die Aufgabe, Referenzmessgeräte zu betreiben, auf welche sich alle meteorologischen Strahlungsmessungen weltweit stützen.

The Schenk Research Group, part of the Christine Kühne – Center for Allergy Research and Education (CK-CARE) research consortium at the Medicine Campus Davos, Switzerland, is seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to explore the immune mechanisms underlying atopic dermatitis (AD) and other allergic diseases.

CK-CARE comprises five clinical and basic research facilities in Switzerland and Germany with the main focus on Allergology and Dermatology. The Medicine Campus Davos integrates medical care (with Hochgebirgsklinik Davos), translational and basic research in one place. Patients benefit from individually adapted rehabilitative care, acute diagnostics, prevention medicine and treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases. We are looking for a highly motivated person to expand CK-CAREs translational research activities within our CK-CARE facilities in Davos.
