Alexandra Wallimann, ARI & SIAF

Alexandra Wallimann grew up in the canton of Obwalden and studied biomedical sciences in Fribourg (bachelor) and Bern (master). For her PhD she moved to Davos in February 2018. Her research project is a collaboration between the Swiss Institute of Allergy and Asthma Research SIAF and the AO Research Institute Davos and focuses on the influence of gut flora on bone health.

When she is not working, she likes to spend her time in nature and in the mountains, mostly in running shoes, but also on her road bike or cross-country skis.
