Lichens can be found at every turn - from the front garden to the highest mountain peaks. They are good indicators, for example for determining air quality. This course provides an insight into the biology, ecology and identification of lichens. Using selected lichens, the most important characteristics for identifying lichens will be introduced. We will go on a lichen hunt, look at the collected material under the binoculars and identify it with the help of specialised literature.
