HideCreate scientific images and illustrations with AI
Academia Raetica, ibW Höhere Fachschule Südostschweiz
Artificial intelligence facilitates academic work – from ideation through research to data analysis and text generation. However, visual presentation is also gaining importance: complex content can now be precisely visualized through AI-powered images and graphics. In this seminar, you will learn how to create targeted visual content using current image generators such as GPT Image, Nano Banana, Adobe Firefly, etc. You will discover how precise prompts lead to photorealistic results or creative styles.
Through practical examples, you will develop images for scientific presentations, marketing projects, and social media. You will also learn about the differences between tools, their optimal use cases, and the most important legal frameworks for commercial use. This enables you to use AI image generation professionally and in compliance with legal requirements.
Look forward to the following course highlights
Understanding the Basics: Fundamental knowledge of AI image generation and how the tools work; ethical aspects
Tool Comparison: Chat GPT Image, Google Nano Banana, Adobe Firefly, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Midjourney, etc. – strengths, costs, and application areas
