HideResearchers Beer - Casual conversations about research for all
Academia Raetica
Location: Kulturplatz Davos, Promenade 58c, Davos Platz
Start: 6:30 PM
On the first Tuesday of the month at 18:30, scientists and anyone with a thirst for knowledge meet at the “Researchers Beer” in the foyer of the Kulturplatz Davos to socialize and exchange ideas.
Special guest: Thomas Reitmaier has headed the Archaeological Service of Graubünden since 2012. Originally from Austria, he describes himself as an archaeological all-rounder who, over the past 15 years, has specialized in agriculture, glaciers, and copper mines in the Swiss Alps. Barbara Haller Rupf, Director of Academia Raetica, will talk with Thomas Reitmaier about the fascination of his work, the most important discoveries in Graubünden and Davos, and the relevance of archaeology for people today.
The event will be held in English.
