CCAMM Annual Meeting 2025

WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research SLF

The WSL research program CCAMM – Climate Change Impacts on Alpine Mass Movements began in January 2018 to respond to the new challenges posed by the impacts of climate change on alpine mass movements. CCAMM promotes inter- and transdisciplinary research aimed at enhancing the knowledge base on the risks associated with natural hazards and how best to address them. The program focuses on five overarching key topics: Hazard Disposition, Dynamics, Risk and Adaptation, Cascading Processes, and Early Warning.

CCAMM will conclude in 2025, and we cordially invite you to our final CCAMM Annual Meeting, marking the internal closure of this research program.

The meeting has the following goals:

  • CCAMM results: Key findings of the five work packages.

  • CCAMM Extended Projects: First results.

  • CCAMM Outreach: Where we are and future outlook.

  • CCAMM - a WSL research program: a reflection by CCAMM members and others.
