„The linguistic and cultural diversity of the Grisons as well as its excellent location as part of the Alpine arc calls for inter- and transdisciplinary approaches. This means research that looks at developments from different perspectives in a collaborative manner over a longer period of time. “

Cordula Seger studied German language and literature, art history, and philosophy in Zurich and Berlin. She received her doctorate on the subject "Grand Hotel. Schauplatz der Literatur" at the TU Berlin in 2003. Subsequently, she worked as a lecturer at the department of German Studies at the University of Vienna, as a research assistant at the Architecture department of the ETH Zurich, and as a lecturer at various universities of applied sciences, including the department of Tourism at FHGR in Chur.

In recent years, she has worked as a researcher, lecturer, curator, and publicist in the triangle between literature, architecture, and cultural studies, and has published numerous papers. In December 2017, Cordula Seger was honored by the Upper Engadin District for her cultural commitment and research. Since August 2017, she has been director of the Institut für Kulturforschung Graubünden ikg (Institute for Cultural Research of the Grisons) with headquarters in Chur and a branch office in Sils Maria.
