The Psychiatric Services Graubünden (PDGR) has a cantonal mandate to provide care and pursues the goal of sustainably improving healthcare and the quality of life of people with mental illnesses through psychiatric care and treatment research. This mandate covers psychiatric care throughout the canton of Graubünden – across all age groups and in various forms of treatment and care (outpatient, inpatient, home-based).

Due to the geographical characteristics of a predominantly rural-alpine region, care is provided on a decentralised basis in various centres and homes. Research projects are carried out at several locations and implemented in close cooperation with national and international academic partners.
