Cardio-CARE

Cardio-CARE is a programme run by the Kühne Foundation that conducts research into the hereditary nature of cardiovascular diseases. In Cardio-CARE's central project, the entire genome of a total of 9,000 individuals was sequenced. This project is being carried out in collaboration with the Department of Cardiology at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf and is currently the largest project of its kind in the German-speaking world. Cardio-CARE is also involved in clinical studies and the application and further development of artificial intelligence methods.
