HideAcademia Raetica celebrated 20 years in Davos
Exactly 20 years ago, Academia Raetica was founded in Davos Town Hall. On Saturday, 6 June, we had the pleasure of celebrating this anniversary at the very place where it all began, together with members, partners and guests from science, politics and business.
The speeches by Philipp Wilhelm, Mayor of Davos, and Jon Domenic Parolini, member of the Government of the Canton of Graubünden, made one thing clear: research and education are key factors in Graubünden’s success.
An important milestone of the anniversary general assembly was the adoption of the revised statutes. With this step, Academia Raetica is opening up even further to educational institutions, companies and other actors that enable, apply, communicate or conduct research themselves.
After all, research only unfolds its full value when it flows into products, processes, culture and ultimately into society. We look forward to continuing to connect people, institutions and disciplines, and to strengthening Graubünden’s innovative capacity together.
