Target participants
Spine surgeons with 3 or more years of experience performing deformity corrections who are now dealing with complex and revision cases.
Objectives
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Assess and address complex cervical spine deformity situations (trauma, infection, degeneration, congenital, etc)
Select and plan an appropriate procedure for each complex cervical case based on evidence and likely outcomes
Perform anterior and posterior approaches to the cervical spine
Perform the key steps in common correction techniques for cervical spine deformity (fixation, osteotomies, etc)
Describe how to avoid and address complications related to cervical spine procedures
