On the first Tuesday of the month at 18:30, scientists and anyone with a thirst for knowledge meet at the “Researchers Beer” in the foyer of the Kulturplatz Davos to socialize and exchange ideas.
Special guest
The biomedical engineer Alicia Feist is a junior project leader at the AO Research Institute Davos. Her research focuses on using simulations to predict how bone fractures heal. She tested a simulation on data from a sheep study, where sensors tracked the healing process. The simulation accurately predicted healing trends, helping to identify whether a fracture would heal normally or become delayed or fail to heal (non-union). At the Researchers Beer she will talk about her study and will discuss the results.
