Stefano Del Giovane, CSEM

Stefano Del Giovane studied at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” (Italy). He graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in chemistry. His focus was on analytical electrochemistry. For his PhD, he moved from Rome to Chur in 2021. His doctoral thesis resulted from a collaboration between CSEM (Centre Suisse d'Electronique et de Microtechnique) in Landquart and EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne). The main objective is the development of a new opto-electrochemical protein sensor to be integrated into a point-of-care (POC) diagnostic device.

On weekends, he enjoys hiking, dancing, and capturing the beauty of Graubünden through photography.
