HidePia Fehrenbach, ARI
Pia Fehrenbach completed her bachelor's and master's degree in biology with a focus on immunobiology at the Albert Ludwigs University in Freiburg (Germany). She joined the AO Research Institute Davos as a PhD student in 2022. Her PhD thesis is a collaboration between the AO Research Institute Davos and Amsterdam UMC (The Netherlands), which focuses on host-pathogen interaction in bone infection with Staphylococcus aureus.
The combination of immunobiology and microbiology in research as well as the beautiful mountain landscape were the decisive reasons to move to Davos.
