Dr. Christina Casanova Waser

Christina Casanova Waser is a psychotherapist and lecturer. She studied psychology at the University of Zurich, where she earned her degree as lic. phil. I. Additionally, she has furthered her education in various psychotherapeutic methods, including body-centered psychotherapy, systemic psychotherapy, trauma psychotherapy (EMDR), and Gestalt psychotherapy.

Her dissertation, titled "Bergführer im Spannungsfeld zwischen Idealismus und Leistungsfähigkeit – Eine Analyse der Bedeutung von Präventionsbildung für die Leistung von Bergführern" (English: Mountain Guides Between Idealism and Performance – An Analysis of the Importance of Preventive Education for the Performance of Mountain Guides", reflects her interest in the application of psychotherapeutic concepts in various areas of life.

In her professional career, she worked clinically at the Psychiatric Services of Graubünden. Today, she runs her own psychotherapy practice in Chur. She also lectures at the Institute for Body-Centered Psychotherapy (IKP) in Zurich and has published several articles. Additionally, she serves as a supervisor at the IKP and is involved in moderation for Auftanken TV in Zurich.
