Susanne Matuschek has more than 22 yrs expertise in research funding, career development and networking. 8yrs at the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) as Programme Manager in the Career Division. Chair of European Working Groups on «Conditions of a Research Career in Europe». Since 2010 active in own company MATUSCHEK CONSULTING with Coaching & Workshops.

About the Coaching

This Coaching Funding is confidential and will provide precise feedback to third-party funding applications - focus SNSF. Coachee must be main applicant of the relevant funding application.

Projects must be performed at a Research Institution that is either a member or partner of the Academia Raetica.

Target group

Postdocs/Career and Established Researchers, all disciplines.

Dates

By individual agreement between Coach and Coachee depending on the submission deadline.

Timing

Registration for a Coaching Funding latest 2 months before the envisaged submission deadline (the earlier the better).

Upcoming submission deadlines SNSF 2026:

• 01.04.2026: SNSF Project Funding (Established: Individual or collaborative, disciplinary or interdisciplinary or international projects)

• 05.05.2026: SNSF Starting Grant (Career: Lead your own independent project and research team in Switzerland)

• 01.10.2026: SNSF Project Funding (Established: Individual or collaborative, disciplinary or interdisciplinary or international projects)

• 03.11.2026: SNSF Ambizione (Career: First step towards scientific independence)

For Private Foundations upon request.

Fee

The fee depends on the academic level (see Target group) and will be communicated by the Coach towards the interested person in bilateral context.

Partial reimbursement by Academia Raetica with CHF 200.-/Set Coaching Funding after payment of full amount to the Coach. Please note, that the Academia Raetica will only support coaching of scientists from its member or partner institutions.
