The Cantonal Hospital of Graubünden (KSGR) is the central hospital of Southeastern Switzerland and the largest hospital in the canton of Graubünden. As a teaching hospital of the University of Zurich and a recognized FMH training center with multiple A-clinics, KSGR offers a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services.

KSGR is organized into a departmental structure (Institutes, Surgery, Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine (ANIR), Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, and the Fontana Women’s Clinic) and has been conducting interdisciplinary and interprofessional clinical research for decades. KSGR is one of eight Phase 1 centers within the Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research (SAKK) network. In 2024, it was decided to consolidate research activities, leading to the establishment of a Clinical Trial Unit (CTU) to address the increasing complexity of clinical research, enhance efficiency, and manage limited resources more effectively.

Through clinical trials, patients gain access to innovative and promising therapies that would otherwise often take years to become available in routine care. KSGR collaborates on studies with various academic research groups in Switzerland and internationally, as well as with numerous companies in the pharmaceutical and MedTech industries.

With state-of-the-art medical infrastructure and a broad spectrum of treatments, KSGR ensures the highest level of medical care and patient support. The dedicated team of professionals works daily to provide the best possible care for all patients.
