In July 2009, the Kühne Foundation launched the Christine Kühne Center for Allergy Research and Education (CK-CARE), based in Davos. The main pillars of this initiative are highly qualified and well-connected research work in the field of allergies and the education of medical professionals based on ongoing findings.
The aim of CK-CARE is to overcome limitations in the area of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of people suffering from allergies and to therefore make an important contribution to the sustainable well-being of patients. With locations in Davos, Augsburg, Bonn, Munich and St. Gallen, clinical conditions, currently neurodermatitis, can be researched in a unique way by a group of international experts.
