Renting

Rental flats are equipped with a kitchen or cooking facility. Usually, there is a washing machine in the flat or for shared use. Normally, the minimum rental period is one year. The notice period is three months. Pay attention to the termination dates. Often in Graubünden, you can only terminate your contract on March 31, June 30, and September 30. The deposit is between one month’s and three months' rent. The deposit should be paid into a rental deposit account with a bank. Fully furnished rooms may be subject to different rules. In the case of an extraordinary termination, you must present a suitable subsequent tenant or pay until the contractual termination date. In the case of shorter stays, your employer may be able to help with the accommodation search.
