Project leader science management
Anja Schilling Hoyle joined the Graduate School Graubünden (GSGR) as Project Manager in Science Management in November 1, 2019. She will continue her tasks at the Academia Raetica as a result of the GSGR’s integration into the latter. She focuses in particular on scientific exchange and cooperation, the organization of education and training, and fundraising.
Prior she worked as project manager for the Greenland Circumnavigation Expedition GLACE at the Swiss Polar Institute. Thanks to her previous activities, she is well connected within the Bündner research landscape and internationally. She holds a degree in geography and specializes in project management and science communication. As conference manager, she has organized various international scientific conferences, such as the DACA-13 in 2013 and the POLAR2018 in 2018, both in Davos.
She is married and has a daughter; in her spare time she enjoys walking, mountain biking and skiing outdoors.
