Graubünden not only has a long tradition as a “health location”, but also provides space for development. Our fourteen member institutions involved in medical and life sciences introduce themselves. Together they employ approximately 1260 staff. The academic staff also includes about 30 doctoral students and 30 post-docs who are researching in Graubünden. Important topics include the study of allergies, the development of new methods for treating bone fractures, or the rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal disorders. The medical member institutions organize annual conferences in Davos and Graubünden that attract thousands of experts from around the world. Our clinical member institutions offer a wide range of services that contributes to the good quality of medical care in the region.
